Hope of the World - “The Church That God Uses”

Good to be back and be up here teaching again. I missed it, missed y’all. But I had a great time with Braiden on our road trip and God showed me a lot of things along the way…

It is so easy to take our faith for granted. Spent over two weeks in some of God’s most amazing country. WOW… amazing. See Creation wherever you looked.

People were walking around us just going on with their daily lives…

Cabins build at the foot of mountains, and on streams, near waterfalls. Everywhere I went I think I had this look on my face…

It’s like living near the ocean or watching a Texas sunset —

after a while, what was once breathtaking becomes background.

Got me thinking, how many times do we Christians do that with our relationships with Jesus?

We get up, go to work, take care of the kids, pay the bills, plan the next weekend — and somewhere along the way, we forget the greatest thing that ever happened to us: that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, left heaven, walked among us, bore our sin, and died in our place — all so that we could live in His grace.
