41 is Coming - “What are You Doing… What Should You Be Doing?”

Have you ever run from God? Maybe not literally like Jonah, but have you ever ignored something God was asking you to do?

Jonah’s story is not just about a big fish—it’s about a big God and His relentless pursuit of us. Jonah tried to run from God’s plan, but God’s grace chased him down.

When we read this account we have a tendency to think that Jonah’s plight was about punishment not grace. Grace doesn’t swallow people. A deeper look is about God’s deliberate kindness. Jonah doesn’t get what he deserves. Jonah gets a second chance.

We ask the question…what would you do for God if you knew it was Him who asked?

We often state…I would do anything…the truth is that we don’t even do the simple things like loving each other, serving, giving, or sharing our hope with others.

Here’s the big question: What is God asking you to do, and are you running or responding? Let’s lean inot the fishy account and discover that God will not let you go.
