Winning at Life - “Extra Grace Required”

There are times when I get offended. There are times when I offend others. Often times when I am offended or when I am offensive it is by accident. I am careless. There are the rare times when I am intentionally offensive or I am looking to be offended.

It seems our culture is leaning more and more toward the “being easily offended” reaction. How do we live differently and more intentionally like Jesus? We really need extra grace.

Extra grace is an interesting phrase. When we come into a relationship with Jesus we receive all the grace we will ever need. The extra grace is not for us to consume but for us to give away as we live with others. In this passage, Jesus address our natural reaction to being offended and our need to surrender our offensive to Him.
