Life Lessons from Country Music - Tim McGraw's “Hey Whiskey”

Our goal here at FOTC is to be Better today than yesterday… MORE LIKE JESUS…

In my personal quest to be more like Jesus I have studied Jesus … mainly how he taught.

Jesus was “Engaging ” – word means someone who is interesting and can hold a person attention by being entertaining, interesting, funny, thought provoking, all things that draw someone in.

Jesus would observe something going on in the culture, or his surroundings like the temple walls or a city gate or shepherds tending their flocks, a Roman coin, and he would use those things to make a joke, launch into a story or parable and speak truth and make applications… teach life lessons.

Following Jesus example… In the past I have taken things form our culture and put them under the biblical microscope, to see what Biblical truths they may or may not realize they are applying. We have done Life Lessons series Life Lessons from Duck Dynasty, Yogie Berra and Walt Disney. Now life lessons from Country Music.
